"Deprived Sensory Cortices and Cognitive Control" Discussed at the ITBF Colloquium

The 3rd session of the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences 2025-2026 Spring Term Colloquium was held on March 25th at 12:00 in hall A201. In the session, which featured the presentation titled "Deprived Sensory Cortices and Cognitive Control" by Research Assistant Hasan Duymuş from the Department of Psychology, the functional reorganization of sensory cortices in individuals with congenital visual or auditory deprivation was examined, specifically focusing on their involvement in higher-level cognitive processes such as attention and cognitive control.
